Winner of the Snow Sculpture Competition 2013

The 6 Snow Sculpture teams begun working on their blocks in the village at Silver Star Mountain Resort around 10am Friday, February 1st and finished at 10am Sunday, February 3rd in time for judging and the awards ceremony at 11am. The sculptures are definitely worth visiting and seeing the hard work put into each of them! They will remain up at silver star for as long as they last in the elements. 

Here is this years winner, by the team Best in Snow, with their sculpture titled "First Sign of Spring. Members Aaron Grant, Janelle Parchomchuck and Kirk Safford. More photos coming soon.
