Twenty/twenty ‘icesight’ is not needed to see signs of past glaciers in Vernon! Immerse yourself in an age when the Okanagan was covered in ice 2000 metres thick and learn how it’s shaped our lives to this day. Get hands-on with marshmallows, snow cones, and everyone’s favourite, flubber, to model the flow and dynamics of real Canadian ice sheets. Suitable for all ages.
Admission: Included with regular admission, free for OSC members
This event runs multiple times: Tues. Feb 5 at 3:30pm, Sat. Feb 9 at 11:00am & 1:00pm.
